FEAST OF TABERNACLE ...Deut 16:13-17,Exodus 23:14-17,Lev 23:33
This is one of the feasts that God commanded the children of Israel to keep in all their generation. The Lord gave it to them as a memorial to remember how they dwell in the desert while the cloud of glory tabernacled in their midst.It is the seventh feast observed in the 7th month or at the end of the year depending on their calendar. The other feasts are feast of Passover, sheaf of first fruits and unleavened bread (Easter ),feast of harvest or weeks or first fruit,otherwise called feast of Shavuot which is Pentecost, feast of trumpets, feast of atonement and finally the feast of tabernacle or Sukkot.
-It is God's appointment given to mankind to encounter him,it is a time of great encounters
-Jesus celebrated these feasts (John 7:1-39), (John 5).
-It is the appointed time of open heavens,a set time to favor Zion (psalm 102:13)
-It is a time of restoration (Eccl 3:1-2)
PROMISES THAT COMES WITH THE FEAST... (Isaiah 25:7-8)
-The Lord is our host and we are His guests,so he prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies (ps 23).There is going to be abundance
-Destinies,families,businesses shall be covered (exo 34:22-24)
-It is the feast of perfection,yes!the 7th feast on the 7th month
-It ultimately speaks of our lives as believers,our maturity in Christ and finally our eternal rest in God
-It will continue even in the millennium reign of Christ (zech 14:16)
